What is El Futuro?
El Futuro is a community-based nonprofit organization that seeks to transform Latino-serving mental health care in North Carolina and beyond. We provide bilingual and culturally-responsive mental health services including therapy, psychiatry, substance use treatment, and case management in a welcoming environment of healing and hope.

What kind of resources are available on this website?
The resources on the website are training and learning materials for providers, administrators, and other professionals working in the field of Latine Mental Health.

Who are these resources for?
The resources on the website are geared towards providers working with the Latine Community on issues around mental health, including therapists, counselors, social workers, community health workers, among others. These resources are not geared towards community members or client/patients.

Can I join a forum?
At this time forums are only in use for specific programs. If you are interested in connecting with other providers, you can join our LinkedIn group here.
If you are a participant in a program that includes a forum, you should receive information about how to join via email. If you are having difficulty joining, please email ecastro@elfuturo-nc.org for the Immigrant Solidarity Network, and aieno@elfuturo-nc.org for La Academia.
Do you offer live programming?

Can I get CEs or CEUs for the recorded webinars?
No. We are unable to provide CEs or CEUs for recorded webinars at this time.
We do provide continuing education for counselors, social workers, and couple and family therapists via live webinars and our upcoming conference. You can learn more about these offerings here.
Are you still using Mighty Networks?
The La Mesita Network on Mighty Networks is still available for connecting with other providers or finding information. We will transition out of the platform during summer 2024, as this website will be the host for all resources currently on our Mighty Networks platform.
